Employee Spotlight: Ed

Motivation Excellence

Each month we will be highlighting one of our amazing employees. We’ll ask them some work-related questions and also some not-so-work-related questions – hopefully, you’ll be able to see why we think we’ve got the best people around.

Today, our spotlight is on Ed Wojtaszek, our Creative Art Director.

How long have you been working at Motivation Excellence?
It will be 18 years this November.

How has your role changed over the years you’ve been here?
We offer a lot more web-based materials to our clients and we also have internal print capabilities which we didn’t have years ago.

What has been your favorite project working here?
We recently produced custom graphics for our office to enhance customer presentations. Working on those types of projects allows you to keep your mind fresh and open to new ideas.

What are 3 words you would use to describe Motivation Excellence?
Energetic, Fun, Rewarding.

Describe what you were like at age 10.
Cute as all get out!  Couldn’t wait for the school day to end so I could get outside with my friends.

Do you have an office nickname?
It would have to be Eduardo.

If given a chance, who would you like to be for a day?
That’s a hard one. Maybe car customizer Charley Hutton. That guy can design and paint cars like no one else.

If you could interview one person (dead or alive), who would it be and why?
Johannes Gutenberg. I gotta find out why we need SO MANY typefaces!

Do you recall any embarrassing moments at work?
All of the times I have called coworkers by the wrong name.

If you were to write a self-help book, what would the topic be?
Keeping your sense of humor in any situation.

Tell us 3 things that most people don’t know about you.
I toured much of the U.S. by motorcycle.  I raced stock cars with my brother when the Santa Fe Speedway was still in operation.  Also, I still have the first car I drove.

Hobbies and interests outside of work?
I’m a complete gear head…love to restore classic cars. I also like to create an occasional woodworking project for the house.
